The Felix Ventures Hoegee Trail Camp trip ended up into something a little different than originally planned, but still ended just as memorable! 🌲⛺️ Since the warm weather changed our winter mountaineering plans, we made it an overnight at Hoegee’s near Chantry Flats : about 6 miles total of hiking.

FVF teaches our members how to deal with unexpected moments by making it part of the plan. Sometimes things don’t go exactly how you expect, but they still end up being worth it! ⛰️🧭

The FVF Retreat at Lake Arrowhead was the prefect reset and getaway! Relaxing by the lake and honoring old traditions, it was a lovely treat for active Venturers and alumni alike. ❄️

There was quite a lot of snow on the ground, making it a perfect weekend for snowball fights. This event had so many of our old alumni come back for a great reunion, and it ended up being a wonderful turnout overall! ☃️

FVF recently spent a long and relaxing trip at San Diego 🌴🌊 to visit many different colleges! Staying at the KOA Campground, we explored some incredible campuses, including some like UC San Diego, University of San Diego, San Diego State University, and Point Loma Nazarene University! 🌅 Felix Ventures often hosts many opportunities like this to explore colleges that you may be interested in!

Felix Ventures traversed all the way to Death Valley
for our latest trip! Venturers spent MLK weekend exploring, taking on hikes, learning about the land, and testing exploration skills. We visited Zabriski Point, Badwater Basin, Artists Palette, Mesquite sand dunes, capping off the trip with a visit to the Manzanar National Historic Site. We enjoyed activities such as cook offs, camping, hiking, playing in the sand dunes, stargazing, and learning about cultural history!! 🌞🌵🏜️🌙

Near Agua Dulce, north of Santa Clarita, FVF has made its way to Vasquez Rocks!

Famous for its tilted sandstorm formations, Venturers went car camping 🚗, trained themselves in navigation 🧭, and enjoyed a cool night under the stars 🌠, finishing off with a course of orienteering and a climb to the very peak!

FVF crew pedaled 🚴 from Granada Hills all the way to Ventura for the annual 55 mile bike ride! Wrapped it all up nicely with a night of camping 🏕️ and a day at the beach 🏖️ before coming back home! Special congrats to new member of the 100/100 club Amilkar Gomez!
