Since 1991, Piedmont Women’s Center has been providing free medical services to women with pregnancy-related needs. In recent years the request for our services has more than doubled, and in order to respond to this increase, we are building a new medical clinic on Grove Road. The facility will be 7,900 square feet, five times larger than the existing clinic, enabling us to provide services to man
y more women. Because of the involvement of individuals, churches, and businesses, the clinic is coming together in a miraculous way. Much of the labor and materials for the new clinic is being provided by the local construction community. Architects and engineers, Ten Upstate general contractors, and many subcontractors and suppliers are involved in a big way by providing services, supplies, and materials from their warehouses, yards, and quarries. Because of the generosity of many, the cost of a $1.5 million dollar building has been reduced by hundreds of thousands of dollars. No one stands alone at Piedmont Women’s Center. We stand with the support of those who have given and volunteered for over 26 years. We would invite you to participate in some way.
