☀️💧 HEAT SAFETY REMINDER 💧☀️

Summer is here, and staying hydrated is one of the most important things our athletes can do!

🏈 Drink water before, during, and after activities.
🧡 Wear light-colored clothing when possible.
💚 Take breaks in the shade.
🏈 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion such as dizziness, headache, nausea, or unusual fatigue.

Remember: If you're thirsty, you're already behind on hydration!

The Mesa Verde Junior Mavericks are excited to offer FREE registration to the Top 3 Football Athletes and Top 3 Cheer Athletes who submit the most inspiring essays!

We want to hear directly from our athletes about why they are passionate about their sport and what it means to them.

Contest Rules

✅ Open to current and prospective Mesa Verde Junior Mavericks athletes

✅ Top 3 Football Athletes and Top 3 Cheer Athletes will receive FREE registration

✅ Essays must be written by the athlete

✅ Essays must be no more than one page in length

✅ Parents may assist with spelling and formatting, but the ideas and writing must be the athlete's own

❌ No AI-generated essays or substantial AI assistance permitted

Prize covers registration fees only and does not include uniforms, equipment, spirit wear, or any additional program costs.
