Soroptimist International of Citrus Heights has a book club ! We read books based on strong women roles, here is our next choice! Can’t wait to get into this one! Did you know our club is international and we help local girls and women with scholarships & awards to help them in higher learning, helping them with empowerment toward getting that dream job so they can live their best life!
How can you get involved? Come to a fund raiser, donate to the scholarships, look at our websight and come to our program club to be more aware or learn how to join as a member!

Planning Meeting for 2026-2027! We were busy, we still have much to do. So appreciate everyone's input, ideas, suggestions, and hanging in. Thanks to Round Table Pizza in Citrus Heights for reserving the room for us. Here's to a great year for Soroptimist International of Citrus Heights and the women and girls we serve!

Sacramento CASA

Sometimes our hard work really pays off. Today our club gave a generous donation to Sacramento County's CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in the form of gift cards for Amazon, Target, and Walmart to be given to foster youth for birthday gifts, graduation gifts, school supplies, rewards for improved grades, etc. We also donated gas gift cards to help the volunteer advocates be able to visit the kids in person. The advocates work with foster youth, advocating for them in the court system, at school, medically, etc. For some foster youth, the advocate is the only consistent adult in their life. The only one to show up to graduation; the only one to celebrate small successes; the one constant from one foster placement to another. There are more kids on the wait list than there are kids with advocates. Please consider volunteering. Thank you to Soroptimist members for working hard so we can help foster youth and thank you to CASA for being their advocates. To learn more, visit sacramentocasa.org
