QUARTERLY PRESENTATION!
"History of Water in Citrus Heights"
Thursday, May 7, 2026 6:00pm

Our region is an arid desert much of the year. Yet we have enough water all year-round. How does this happen?

Retired Citrus Heights Water District General Manager Bob Churchill takes us back to Gold Rush era water canals and shows how they evolved to the modern water system we have today. Bob is joined by Jason Aliviar of the California American Water Company and Dan York, General Manager of the Sacramento Suburban Water District.

JOIN US for a free evening presentation by a group of professionals serving the Citrus Heights area with water and hear the history of how our dry terrain became a lush farm and family oasis. May 7th, 6pm at City Hall. Refreshments offered, bring a friend!
