Bicentennial Daylight Masonic Lodge No. 830

Bicentennial Daylight Masonic Lodge No. 830 Through our culture of philanthropy, we make a profound difference for our brothers, our families, our communities, and our future.

A daylight Masonic Lodge is a Lodge that meets during the day to accommodate those members whose employment requires them to work the third or night-time shift and who are retired from their usual vocation. Masonry is the world's first and largest fraternal organization, and is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to help make the world a better place. The mission of the Masons o

f California, to foster personal growth and improve the lives of others, is carried out through Masonic principles and tradition.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our nation, securing our freedoms through their unwavering courage and selfless love. From the battlefields of history to today's conflicts, we recall their stories, the families they inspired, and the indelible mark they left on our collective pursuit of liberty. Our gratitude for their sacrifice is boundless, and we pay tribute to their legacy by striving for a world where freedom and justice thrive. May their courage inspire us to live with purpose, and may their memory fortify our resolve to shape a brighter future. To those who served and especially to the families of the fallen, we offer our deepest thanks.

Have a great March Brethren.

Did you know....

On March 3rd 1753 ten days after his 21st birthday... Our first Masonic President George Washington was passed to the degree of Fellowcraft at the Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4 in Virginia.

Many of Washington’s brothers in the Fredericksburg Lodge later served within in the Continental Army or Virginia Militia, including Hugh Mercer, George Weedon, and Thomas Posey. Washington’s “Mother Lodge” was renamed and numbered as Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4 after the creation of the Grand Lodge of Virginia in 1778. It continues to meet today.
