We have an important update regarding our Second Annual Clay Shoot for Hudson’s Purpose.

Our event was originally scheduled for April 11th, but due to Blake starting a new job and not yet having his permanent schedule, we will need to postpone the shoot until this fall. We also want to be mindful of the timing. After hosting it in the heat of summer last year, we don’t want to do that again. We want this event to be enjoyable for everyone, and cooler fall weather will make for a much better day!

While we’re disappointed to move the date, we’re so grateful for your continued support and understanding. This event means so much to our family, and we want to make sure we can give it the time and attention it deserves.

We’ll share the new fall date as soon as it’s confirmed. Thank you all for standing with us and supporting Hudson’s Purpose. We can’t wait to see everyone soon! 🩵

To the mama who lost her baby this year,

I was you. I remember the anxiety as the new year approached. I didn’t want the calendar to change. I didn’t want to step into a new year—because it meant starting it without my baby.

January 1st marks a year with no new memories to make. No watching your baby grow, no new pictures or videos. Just a year of firsts without them. And you aren’t ready for that.

You want to stay in the year when your baby was in your arms. The year you saw their smile, heard their voice, and held them close. The year your family was whole. The year you discovered a strength you never knew you had. The year you became their voice, sang to them, kissed their forehead, and tried to memorize every detail.

You don’t want to give that up.
You don’t want a new year.

You would relive this year over and over if it meant more time with your baby. Enduring the pain again just to hold them once more. You don’t know how to live in a year they aren’t part of.

But like you have every day since their heart stopped and yours kept beating, you will find a way to carry them with you. You will honor them in the small things and the big ones.

A new year is hard when you carry grief. It puts more distance between now and the last time you held your baby. You don’t want a “fresh start.” You want what you had.

This year will still bring hurt and anger as you grieve this impossible loss. But I hope you also find moments of peace. I hope you find comfort between the pain, moments where you feel your baby close, and reminders that you are not alone.

We are here with you, charging into this new year together.
