Due to the impending weather the radio operators that planned to set up stations at the Jamboree on the Air event have decided it prudent to cancel the event for safety reasons. All camping will be cancelled as well. This was scheduled for today and this weekend at camp Push.

πŸŽ‰ It's enrollment time for Cubscouts πŸŽ‰
Registration will be held Thursday, September 12th at 6:30 in the cafeteria of McDavid Jones. All students Grades K-5 are welcome to join! I will be talking to students today at the school, so look for the flyer they will be bringing home. See ya there.

It's that time again πŸŽ‰
Our meetings will resume on September 16th.
In the meantime I need volunteers! I need leaders/parents to assist me with "Classroom Talk" on September 11th. We will be going around to the classrooms of McDavid-Jones talking to the students about Cubscouts and passing out flyers. Then on September 12th we will hold our registration for new scouts in the school cafeteria. Please let me know if you can help me with this!! Looking forward to another great year!

Alright y'all I got Pack #33 down for next weekend at Camp Push. (June 14th & 15th) Just a family fun campout. There is still some rain in the forecast, but there is a camping in the rain badge ;) I have not made a final itinerary yet, but im thinking everyone should bring a water gun! (I am bringing a hose and a simple garden sprinkler) We will have a lesson on hanging a clothesline (by Leland) so if you have your own clothesline (for the wet water clothes) bring that, so the boys can practice and hang their own near their tent. We will also hang one on the porch. Fishing will be optional and bringing board games for inside the cabin (during rain) is strongly encouraged. Also if anyone has fans for the cabin that would be awesome. I'm looking to borrow an industrial one, but that's not guaranteed. Other than that.. food, drinks, snacks for your family, and regular camping gear. (& maybe a poncho jic) Looking forward to seeing y'all and please let me know if your planning to come because head counts are awesome :) Any questions feel free to contact me.
