Farrier day ! Everyone did great including Boone. Boone’s was so bad in 3 of his 4 feet. Two of his hooves had no frog left , not sure how he has not been dead lane but she said she has seen horses like that before that have learned to tolerate the pain and are not lame. Thank you to our amazing Farrier Emma he is all cleaned and patched up. I will be re packing his hoofs every other day for a couple weeks at least. Look how much she took off he was very overgrown also. Pics are just of his hooves everyone else’s are good !

Earlier R***r, Slyboy and Pistol were out grazing . Now it’s Wander, Boone , Grace and Elvis’s turn. Boone is being very respectful of Grace which is good because she don’t put up with no foolishness out of geldings 😂

Wander and Boone bath time. Mr Boone has bad thrush in all 4 feet 😳. He is not fond of baths but he did good. He finally relaxed enough. I’ll treat all his hooves after he dries. He has a little bit of a dish face I would not doubt some Arabian in him

We took Slyboy ( Wendy Lopez) and Pistol (myself) and Jeff was camera man , to Norm Westbrook . They did amazingly!

Thank you Caitlin , Vesper Show Horses , for you donation of horse items! Very much appreciated as what we can’t use we save until we go to a tack sale and use proceeds to help with feed/ hay / vet for the kidz here 😃 Had to take a pic of Dipper while I was there. He is so adorable in his fly mask!

Old fence in their paddock and new fence. We still have to take down the old stuff as we put the new run in front of the old. Pistol checking it out. Boy we are getting slow in our old age 😂. Next is line between Grace and the “ big” group but not today 😂

Went to Sparr feed and Farm to get 10 fence boards to replace an area where R***r/ Pistol/ Slyboy and White are. This small run is one of the last left that we put up 14 yrs ago with used fencing . I would say that is a good deal 😂 but now it’s time as it is easy for them to push down. I always check the “ cull Pile” first. Manager Eve’s said there is but you have to buy the bundle of them and there are 73 boards. 😳 Then he says they are 80% off so we paid $211 for 73 boards as we don’t pay tax either . We unloaded them and there are like 5 that have small splits but you always need shorter boards on runs so they will work for that . A WIN for the horses but work for me 😞. 🤣😂
