As Memorial Day approaches, we take this time to honor and remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice protects the freedoms we cherish, and our team at Stirrups n Strides holds their memory close.

Our office will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of the holiday. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 26 and will respond to any messages as soon as we return.

We invite our community to pause with us for reflection and gratitude this Memorial Day.

Every time a rider enters the arena, they’re backed by an entire team working quietly behind the scenes.

Our side-walkers, horse handlers, ring crew, and show-day helpers make therapeutic riding, and Special Olympics training possible. Their support helps our riders feel safe, confident, and ready to shine when competition days arrive.

At Stirrups n Strides Therapeutic Riding Center, our volunteers truly are the steady hands and encouraging voices that help our participants reach their goals.

Welcome to our community — we’re so glad you’re here!

At Stirrups n Strides Therapeutic Riding Center in Citra, Florida, our team is dedicated to helping individuals grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit through therapeutic riding and equine-assisted programs. We work with children, adults, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, supporting physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Through therapeutic horseback riding, carriage driving, and Special Olympics training, we focus on building confidence, improving balance and strength, easing anxiety, and creating meaningful connections with our horses.
