Here's some pictures of this past weekend. Me and the boys cleaned out ALL the stalls, then ate lunch and decided to do some target practice. It was kinda rainy so we mostly worked inside the barn. In one of the videos u can see all the manure piles.

I m not the greatest at making post on updates here on the farm. I struggle with not wanting it to look like I am bragging on how great I m or look at the wonderful things I have done. Just so yall know where I m coming from, on the other hand I know that the supports of our ministry want to know that we are doing stuff here and what we are doing, so I will be better at making posts or updates. I was kinda out of commission for a couple months due to a broken shoulder that kinda slowed me down on what I could do. I only have 1 young man coming to the farm at this time, but hopefully that changes soon and I gain a few more. I m GREATFUL to all of you who continue to support our ministry!

If you know of a young man (11+years old) that can benefit from our program please let's us know. Thank you stay blessed!

I know this whole time change thing is difficult for a lot of people and I can agree with those who struggle with it.

Before our evening feeding time is over it is usually pitch black outside....and that's before 6pm!!!

Sitting and waiting for Beeb to finish his dinner I looked up and realized how clear and beautiful the sky is tonight.

It reminded me that even in the middle of hard and difficult things, there is always something beautiful to be found, BUT you have to look for it!

I want to be someone who looks for it, the beauty. Do you?!

A few years ago we were able to buy the field to the west of our house for a second pasture. We tilled it all up and planted pasture grass and all that jazz. We bailed the hay whenever it was time. We were trying to let the grass get well established before putting the horses on it. The grass is very well established so we bought the fencing supplies and put up the fence. Big shout out to those of you who continue to donate to our ministry and a big shout out to my boss and friend William Schlueter for always letting me use his equipment here on the farm. Thank you all very much.

There is a first for everything here on the farm!! This one is a good first!

We hatched this beautiful hen here on the farm in an incubator! She has grown up to be a beautiful hen and decided she wanted some little chicks of her own.

We noticed that she was sitting on a pile of eggs a few weeks ago and this weekend we saw that she successfully hatched 3 baby chicks!!

It's so fun to see her leading them around on the farm showing them how to be good chickens!!

Feeding time! Just enjoying the night on the farm. We have had a great summer so far. We may not post here on Facebook often, but we are still here staying busy on the farm and with the ministry. Our family is in a season of transition. We appreciate our supporters who continue to support us through this time of transition and look forward to what the future holds, for our family and for this ministry.

We could not do what we do without your support - THANK YOU -

We are devastated by the loss of Darren's mother, Lisa Winegardner. She was one of Darren's biggest cheerleaders on his road to recovery, living life centered in God and helping kids from the experiences Darren had in his life.

We are honored to be receiving donations in her memory. Our plans for those donations are to purchase a lean-to for our horses to put in our new pasture. We cannot wait to be able to purchase that and get a memorial plaque placed on it "In Loving Memory of Lisa Winegardner"

Lisa A. Winegardner

A couple weekends ago we painted our rental house and I had 2 really great helpers. Teaching Trinity and Daniel to paint and watching them do it on their own reminded me of when I was a kid and my Dad tought me how. Daniel is a hard worker and I am proud to have him be apart of this ministry.
