The Roundtown Conservancy was established for express purpose of helping to protect, promote and enhance the intrinsic value of our rural landscapes and our architectural heritage by fostering good planning practices. Pickaway County and the greater Circleville community has tremendous potential to build on its natural and physical assets and its unique culture to enhance a special quality of life. The challenge citizens face is to create a sense of place—a sense that Pickaway County is a special place as evidenced by its appearance, its amenities and careful attention to detail
The natural beauty of the area—from the Pickaway Plains and the Scioto River Valley to a rich architectural heritage—form the foundation for an exceptional community character. This community character is the visual expression of our special quality of life. This special character—and our quality of life—are continuously threatened by the pressures of development and unplanned growth. The Roundtown Conservancy is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Circleville area through the protection and enhancement of the physical environment.
