Pickaway County Leadership Fellows /PCN Leadership Strategic Direction Fund This executive leadership program was formulated and funded through a country-wide strategic planning process. Leaders are prepared!

Leadership
Leadership in Pickaway County – or any county, city or town – comes from many more places than those elected to public office. The impact of civic leadership is longer lasting because these citizen leaders are stewards of their community; they set and maintain a tone of ethics and values for a community, and they cultivate new leadership in an effort to make sure that the cycle continues with the next generation. Areas of interest include:
•Development and implementation of a Pickaway County "fellows" program as a continuing leadership training program
•Development of an inventory of county leadership opportunities to link leaders with existing opportunities

As the cliché goes: "some leaders are born, others are made." PCN's leadership fund is dedicated to nurturing tomorrow's leaders so they are comfortable in decision making roles that ultimately help chart a course for Pickaway County's future success.

🎉 We’re kicking off the 2026–2027 Pickaway County Fellows Class!
Our Fellows are starting their journey with an introduction to leadership, connection, and community—plus an overnight stay at Deer Creek State Lodge! 🌲✨

We’re excited to see this year’s class learn, grow, build relationships, and discover new ways to make an impact throughout Pickaway County.

Pickaway County Fellows + Rotary = people who believe in showing up and giving back!

We’re proud to have Pickaway Fellows who are also Rotarians—and who put that “service above self” mindset into action right here in our community.

Because leadership isn’t just about what you learn… it’s about what you do with it. And we’re pretty lucky to have a bunch of people who choose to do good, serve others, and make Pickaway County a better place.

🏥Leadership in action! 👏🏥

Pickaway Fellows were front and center at the ribbon cutting celebrating the exciting renovation of OhioHealth Berger Hospital’s surgery care facilities!

Several Fellows played key leadership roles in the celebration and in our community:

✨ Casey Liddy, Fellow ’25 – CEO of Berger, welcomed guests and helped showcase the vision for the renovated space.

✨ Michelle Blanton, Fellow ’14 – Circleville Mayor, spoke about the importance of Berger Hospital to our community.

✨ Katie Logan Hedges, Fellow ’13 – Circleville City Council member, welcomed community members and surgical staff.

✨ Melissa Fausnaugh, Fellow ’18 – Chief Nursing Officer at OhioHealth Berger, helped welcome guests and highlight the new facilities.

✨ Sereana H. Dresbach – Leadership Board Chair, was also in attendance supporting this exciting community milestone.

From healthcare and local government to community leadership, Pickaway Fellows continue to make a difference in Pickaway County! We’re proud to see Fellows serving, leading and helping our community move forward. 💙

A whole contingent of Pickaway Fellows has bravely volunteered (or perhaps been volunteered 👀) to become **official Pie Targets** at the upcoming **Special Olympics fundraiser on August 28!**

They’re putting their faces on the line for a great cause—and we’re pretty sure they’re going to be *very* humble about it. 😆🥧

Andrea Green, a member of the Pickaway County Fellows Class of 2025, shared an informative presentation on the many programs and services offered by the Pickaway County Library. She also highlighted the importance of community input in shaping the library's strategic plan, emphasizing how public feedback helps demonstrate to elected officials the value of state funding in supporting the programs and services that strengthen our communities. 📚💙
