The PBS special is out! This is about an hour long, but worth the watch! History - back in 2021 when I was secretary, I presented to our President Lori Tyler that we had an opportunity to make a difference and donate to who I call my second Son Chad Miller’s organization of Fight Oar Die. Lori was very supportive and Chad kept us updated each week. They were rowing 3000 miles to support Veteran Mental Health, Veteran Su***de and PTSD in 2022. Sadly Lori passed before we could make a donation from the Auxiliary/ However, we ended up making a donation as one of the 3 that were given out from Lori’s Celebration of Life. These are 4 incredible Veterans, with a mission to help other Veterans. God saved these men and there is talk that they may row again!

2nd Round of nominations were completed at our meeting tonight. The current officers are not seeking re-election. Nominations tonight were:
President - Rhonda Romine.
1st Vice - Nikki Phillips.
2nd Vice - Jennifer Parsons.
Secretary/Treasurer - Lexi Washburn.
Election will be held on 05/19 with no ballot voting, due to there is only one person running per position. The current officers will fulfill their duties until new officers are installed in June.

The dinner tonight was awesome! Best we have had next to our annual steak dinner! Thank you to everyone that came out to support the bourbon chicken dinner! A huge thank you to my officers, Lynne Stephens, Lynn Stout, Pam Fout, Rhonda Romine for their time working the dinner, additionally to Todd Cordial, Margaret LeMaster & Lynn Stout, for their prep in the dinner and to Lynne Stephens & Carol Roush for desserts and then we had the pleasure of Steve Gaines for his DJ/Karaoke service! It was an awesome night!

Dont want to brag —It’s the little things! As your current Auxiliary President, there are things you see and many behind the scenes things that you do not see. I have worked hard to build our Unit 134 and done everything by the rules. I received member of the year in 2023 and now an award for recruiting/rejoining new members! 5 years ago before I was Auxiliary President, we had 89 members, currently we are at 111 members! Love our Unit 134 and my personal accomplishments as your Auxiliary President!

Just a note to clear up some rumors. The current auxiliary officers have NOT resigned their positions. However, currently there have been no nominations accepted for any elected office. The current officers are not seeking re-election. The next nomination will be held at 6pm on 04/21 and if an election is needed it will be held on 05/19. The current officers will fulfill their duties until new officers are installed in June.
