🟢 If you have Original Medicare: Look for a supplier that is not only "Medicare-enrolled" but also "takes assignment." Suppliers that accept assignment agree to take the Medicare-approved amount as full payment. If a supplier is approved but doesn't take assignment, they can charge you an unlimited amount above Medicare's rate, leaving you with the extra bill. See link below to find DME supplies near you!

🔴 If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan: You must follow your specific plan's network rules. Most plans require you to use an in-network DME supplier or an approved preferred brand.
