Foster Honey’s lost & found story: Thursday ~8:30pm, Honey left her yard when someone left the gate open. Her foster searched with no luck, and left scent items out hoping Honey would follow her nose home.

8am Friday a kind person posted a sighting of a Sheltie - Honey! We had an area for where to focus. Honey’s helpers spent long hours Friday & Saturday preparing and placing flyers & signs. More sighting calls Friday.

Saturday she was not seen most of the day, and her dedicated team continued with flyers & signs. That evening as we were making plans for where to do more flyers on Sunday, THE CALL came in!

Honey was on someone’s dock at Lake Victoria and they were able to catch her! They had seen the flyers & signs. Turns out this girlie, born and raised in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, did not want to be a lake dog.😄 Honey is very happy to be reunited with her foster family! 💞🥰

A lot of work, time and texts! goes into a lost Sheltie search and that continued today as Honey’s team picked up all the flyers & signs in St. Louis Park and beyond. If you come across a flyer we missed, please pull it down.

We are so grateful to the people (some of whom are not in the photo) who gave so much of their time to ensuring Honey’s safety, who helped with tasks today, who reported key sightings, who caught our girl, and all of you for caring and sharing!

Super simple lickimat, and bonus, easy to clean! The weight of an oven dish keeps it from moving around which is helpful for seniors or for times when your dog wants to relax while licking. You can also put a yoga mat or shelf liner underneath to keep in place.
