The Hunter's Heroes Foundation is dedicated to providing books to local libraries to benefit firefighters in the memory of Lt. Christopher Hunter. Hunter suddenly passed away in November 2014 in the Line of Duty. To carry on his legacy and love of fire-related books and training, this foundation will bd helping libraries off these hard to get books to firefighters. These books will cover a variety of topics including tactics, officer development, promotional prep and much more.

Today marks 11 years since we lost Lt. Chris Hunter — a father, friend, firefighter, and the reason Hunter’s Heroes exists.

We want to thank everyone who reached out with calls, texts, and messages. Your support reminds us why this foundation was created in his honor: to keep his spirit of service, kindness, and community alive.

Chris may have left us 11 years ago, but the impact he made continues through every event, every family helped, and every person who remembers him today. ❤️

Thank you for standing with us, remembering him, and helping us carry forward his legacy.
