Today, the Cincinnati Sisters demand you genuflect immediately! Drop what you are doing and pay homage, for it is the High Holy Feast Day of our very own patron saint of protection, glamour, and structural integrity: St. Phaedra the Defender (AKA Patrick D. Carnes / )! 🛡️👑

Known throughout the realm as The Statuesque Moose, she has descended from on high to bless your barren feeds with immaculate vibes and a beat so holy it belongs in stained glass.

Just LOOK at the material! She is serving red velvet renaissance realness while defending us all from the sins of bad taste and basicness. Clutching her mighty Moose Staff and the Shield of Cincy, she stands tall against the forces of drabness. 🦌✨

Today, The Cincinnati Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence: the Abbey of the Immaculate 4-Way joins our Cincinnati community in honoring the legacy of Dr. King. We remember that the fight against injustice is not a solitary path, but a collective march toward a world where everyone is judged by the content of their character—and perhaps the fabulousness of their spirit—rather than the color of their skin, who they love, or how they identify.

As Sisters, our ministry is to promulgate universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt. Today reminds us that Joy is an act of resistance. Taking care of our neighbors, standing up for the marginalized, and spreading glitter in the face of darkness are all ways we keep the dream alive.

Let us make this a "day on," not just a day off. Go forth and serve your community, beloveds! 💖🌈

It’s December 1st, World AIDS Day. The Cincinnati Sisters, Abbey of the Immaculate 4-Way calls upon you to be a beacon of hope and science! 🧬✨

For decades, our community has fought against silence and shame. Today, we fight with facts and love. ✅ Get Tested: Knowing is power. ✅ Get on PrEP/PEP: Prevention is key. ✅ Support U=U: If you are undetectable, you cannot transmit the virus. Science says so!

Today we honor Saint Randy, the Provider—the first in Cincinnati to open his doors and heart to the Sisters.

When others said, “Not yet,” Randy said, “Right here, right now.”
He didn’t just give us a place—he gave us belonging. A space to meet, to blossom, to be.

From that first “yes,” a sanctuary grew—full of laughter, purpose, and a whole lot of fabulous.

Saint Randy showed that a welcoming space can be holy ground, even if the carpet’s s**g and the stage a little sticky (IYKYK).

On Broadway may be gone, but the love and support Randy showed us years ago is carried into every interaction we have with our community. Open hearts. Open doors. Open minds.

May we all have the courage to open our doors like he did.
