World Water Day is a United Nations observance day that raises awareness around the global water crisis. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 people around the world do not have safe access to drinking water.

Here is an update of what HOPE is doing in Ukraine!

🇺🇦Responding to Crisis in 🇺🇦

Teleperformance Group, Feed the Children, and HOPE worldwide have joined forces to distribute food to several key Ukrainian cities and refugee areas. A combination of hot meals, food baskets or food vouchers will be delivered to families through the end of July.

HOPE worldwide plans to serve residents in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv with a food parcel that will provide relief for up to 10 days. In some locations, bulk food supplies will be purchased locally and then assembled by HOPE worldwide’s Ukraine staff and volunteers to meet the ongoing needs of families in peril.

Teleperformance, Feed the Children, and HOPE worldwide’s partnership in Ukraine will allow both humanitarian organizations to serve many more families with much-needed, short-term relief. By working in concert, these organizations hope to provide relief to nearly 1,700 families.

Last weekend the Cincinnati HOPE Scouts had a packing party putting together Holiday gift bags for the elderly. All items were funded by donations from local companies. The Scouts made gift bags to over 20 nursing home locations. Distribution of over 3,000 pillow paws socks.
