Furry Feature of the Week – Zephyr!

Meet Zephyr! This big, sweet girl weighs just over 100 pounds, but don’t let her size fool you—she’s gentle, easygoing, and has a wonderfully calm demeanor.

Zephyr previously lived in a home with both dogs and cats, so she’s used to sharing her space with other animals. She was surrendered when farm living just wasn’t working out for her family.

She’s also house trained and seems happiest when she can simply relax and be around her people. Zephyr is a big girl with a gentle heart, and she’s ready to find a home where she can settle in and enjoy the good life.

She is settling in with us and loves her people for sure! One minute with her and you will fall in love with this sweet girl. She’s total couch potato material! Come meet Zephyr and get one step closer to meeting your new best friend!

Furry Feature of the Week – Sherman!

Meet Sherman! Sherman is a magnificent tabby tuxedo with an adorable personality chock full of silliness. This guy will make anyone an incredible companion since he truly has a lot to talk about, and he loves human attention. He was found outside living under a deck which certainly did not bode well for him. He has been nothing but sweet and friendly since he has been with us, and he deserves a wonderful home.

Since Sherman was outside, unfortunately, he tested FeLV positive, which could have been a result of the bite wound he had on his foot when we first got him. But now, his wounds have healed and he is living happily in one of our beautiful rooms with other FeLV cats. Because of his medical history, a member of our Adoption Committee will review Sherman's veterinary records with potential adopters so the importance of routine follow-up care is understood, to keep him feeling his best.

What does Sherman need in a home? Ideally, he would live with other FeLV-positive cats, or he would be perfectly happy as the one-and-only feline if it means he gets to be the center of your world with lots of fun. In return for giving this special boy the love and care he deserves, Sherman promises to make his way straight into your heart, and before long, he'll be settled there as the love of your life! A huge thank you to Streetside Brewery for hosting our annual Tails and tikis event! ❤️

Our adoptable dogs got to trade their shelter kennels for a day out—meeting new friends, soaking up attention, enjoying some fun, and showing everyone just how awesome they are. 🐶☀️

Days like this mean so much to our shelter pups, and we’re so grateful to Streetside for giving them the chance to get out, have some fun, and hopefully catch the eye of their future families.

Thank you for supporting STAF and helping make this day so special! We can’t wait for next year! 🌺🍹🐾
