We had a fantastic time catching up with our local supporters while soaking up the sun. It fills our hearts to know that we have a strong community here in Cincinnati that bolsters the work we do in Guatemala! 💙

This year, we'll have purchased a total of 1,316 textbooks for three new schools joining the Textbook Program!

Each year that this program grows, we reach even more students—not just through new schools but through new cohorts of students in schools already part of the Textbook Program. With textbooks in their classrooms, all of these students gain resources that transform their learning experience. 📚

Happy International Youth Day! 🎉 Although today is especially meant to celebrate youth, we're inspired every day by the students in our programs and their dedication to building a better future for their communities.

These students are already leaders and innovators in their own right, and their efforts remind us why equitable opportunities to pursue education are so crucial. Each child deserves to grow up in a safe, compassionate world with the chance to learn and determine their own paths. So while we celebrate International Youth Day, let's do our part in supporting our youth and creating a world where every child has their needs met. 💙

In July, our team in Guatemala held another installment of the Global School Leaders Workshop! These workshops are part of an ongoing collaboration to build more sustainable systems of support and leadership in schools.

At the most recent workshop, principals and school directors learned and discussed strategies for classroom observation, including methods that prioritize building empathy with teachers. We're proud to be a part of this journey and look forward to the impact these school leaders will continue make!
