UPDATE - 6/6/2026 - Pool is OPEN!

⚠️ Indoor Pool Closure Notice ⚠️

The health and safety of our members is always our top priority.

Due to a f***l incident in our indoor pool, the pool will be closed the remainder of today and tomorrow to allow our team to complete the required cleaning, sanitization, and water treatment procedures in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

We understand this may impact your plans, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we take the necessary steps to ensure a safe swimming environment for all members and guests.

🏊‍♀️ Looking for swim options? Be sure to check the YMCA app for outdoor pool schedules, lap swim times, family swim, and other aquatic opportunities available throughout the day. Our outdoor pool remains a great option for many of your swimming and fitness needs while the indoor pool is unavailable.

We will provide updates as needed regarding the reopening of the indoor pool.

🍦💙 What started as an ice cream social turned into something so much more! 💙🍦

Last week, during our YMCA Branch Advisory Board meeting, our board members shared their interest in getting involved in more community service projects. We were excited to partner with our friends at StoryPoint Cincinnati for what we thought would be a fun evening of ice cream and music.

What happened next was pure magic.

The ice cream social quickly turned into a full dance party, filled with laughter, new friendships, and more joy than we could have imagined. Our volunteers and the StoryPoint residents danced, smiled, sang along, and created memories that reminded us all of the power of connection and community. We even got to see our Y friend Charlie, who recently moved into StoryPoint. Thank you, Steven, for allowing us to come have fun with everyone and are excited for more opportunities to partner together!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who truly live the YMCA mission wherever they go. Your willingness to serve, connect, and make a difference helps strengthen our community every day.

🥇🎳 YMCA Team Member Spotlight! 🎳🥇

Join us in celebrating an incredible accomplishment by one of our favorite Y team members—Shane!

This past weekend, Shane competed in the Ohio Special Olympics in Columbus and brought home a GOLD MEDAL, earning 1st Place in bowling! 🏆🎉

Shane is an amazing part of our YMCA family. He works hard at our Welcome Center multiple days each week, always greeting members with a smile, and then puts in even more work with his workouts after his shift is over. His dedication, positive attitude, and determination inspire everyone around him.

More importantly, Shane brings so much joy, kindness, and energy to our YMCA community. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishment and grateful to have him as part of our Y family.

⭐💙 YMCA Team Member Shoutout! 💙⭐

Please join us in congratulating Allison on an incredible accomplishment!

Allison, one of our outstanding lifeguards, Pool Deck Supervisors, and Lifeguard Instructor Trainers, has recently completed her coursework to become an EMT and successfully passed her accreditation exam!

This achievement is even more impressive because Allison accomplished this while continuing her studies in nursing school. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving others truly make her a rockstar both in and out of the YMCA.

At the M.E. Lyons YMCA, safety is our top priority, and team members like Allison help us maintain the high standards our members and community depend on every day.

☀️🚸 Summer Is Here at the M.E. Lyons YMCA! 🏊‍♀️🌞

School is out, our first week of Summer Day Camp is underway, and the outdoor pool is open! With so many families, campers, members, and guests enjoying the Y, we're seeing much more activity throughout our parking lots and grounds.

As you visit the Y this summer, please help us keep everyone safe by:

🚗 Driving slowly through the parking lot
👀 Watching for children, families, and pedestrians
🅿️ Parking only in marked parking spaces
🛑 Staying alert during busy drop-off and pick-up times

Our campers are excited, our members are enjoying the sunshine, and our Y is full of energy. A few extra moments of caution can help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
