✨ Happy New Year ✨

As we begin a new year, we are preparing to launch the next edition of The Heaviest Tear, and we are looking for authors to participate.

Have you experienced pregnancy or infant loss and might be interested in putting your story into words? This can be a meaningful way to honor your baby while also offering hope and support to others walking a similar path.

This begins with a simple conversation—just a space to listen to your story and talk through what sharing it could look like.

💜Your story matters.
📩 Message us if you’d like to connect.

As we celebrate this season, we also recognize that Christmas can be difficult for many. We know that even this past week alone, some in our community have received heartbreaking news about their pregnancy/baby, and our hearts are with you. Please know that you are not forgotten, and you are not alone.

May this season bring moments of comfort, peace, and hope—wherever you may be on your journey. We are holding you close and sending love to each of you.

The Alana Marie Project has lost a dear sister and friend, Tondrea Maclin. Tondrea was a huge part of our organization and a co-author of our book, The Heaviest Tear. While our hearts are completely broken, we find comfort knowing she is with the Lord and reunited with her angel babies.

Tondrea, thank you for your incredible contribution to The Alana Marie Project — for being a voice to the brokenhearted and helping families heal during their darkest moments of loss. Your vulnerability and willingness to share your story will continue to impact families for years to come.

Please keep our brother Marcus J. Maclin and their miracle baby JJ in your prayers during this difficult time. 💔🙏

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month — a time to pause, remember, and honor the babies who left footprints on our hearts and the families who carry their love every single day. 💗

Today, October 15, is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Tonight at 7 PM, we’ll join families across the world for the Wave of Light — lighting candles to honor the lives that ended too soon but are never forgotten. 🕯️

As you light your candle, take a picture and share it with someone you know who has experienced loss. Let it remind them they’re seen, supported, and not alone.

Together, we’ll fill the world with light, love, and remembrance. 🌎✨

🌈 Today we honor National Rainbow Baby Day.

A rainbow baby is a little one born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss — a beautiful reminder of hope after the storm. While these precious children bring joy, we also recognize the deep grief that comes before them and hold space for every parent who carries both love and loss in their heart. 💛

To the families still waiting for their rainbow, to those cherishing one in their arms, and to those remembering the babies gone too soon — you are not alone. We see you, we honor your journey, and we stand with you today and always. 💕

We’re excited to introduce you to “There’s So Much More”

Our co-founder, Marquisse, had it on her heart to create a space to share honestly — about grief, pregnancy and infant loss, and the everyday moments where faith and real life meet.

The blog is filled with faith-filled reflections, gentle encouragement, and reminders that you’re not alone.

This month’s post, Grace, Grief, and Golf, is a heartfelt look at miscarriage, legacy, and holding space for both sorrow and celebration. It also includes a free download: 10 gentle, faith-based reminders for grieving parents.

Our hearts are full. ⛳️💜
Yesterday’s golf outing was such a special day. Thanks to your generosity, we exceeded our $5,000 goal — and because of that, we’ll be able to sponsor our next cohort of parents to write Part 2 of “The Heaviest Tear”.

We can’t wait to share more about what’s ahead as more brave families come together to honor their babies and share their stories.

A special thank you to our incredible board, volunteers, and sponsors for helping make the day so meaningful — we truly couldn’t do this without you.

We’ll be posting more photos once we get the professional shots back, but for now, here are a few shots for you to enjoy!

Mark your calendars — we’ll see you next year on June 6, 2026!

Today, Alana Marie would have turned 11 years old.

Though her time with us was far too short, her impact has stretched far beyond what we could have imagined. Her name — Alana Marie — has been spoken in rooms she never entered, across cities and countries she never visited. Her story has sparked conversations, built communities, and touched the hearts of families around the world.

This is her legacy.
One of purpose. One of power. One of love.

Through The Alana Marie Project, her light continues to guide families through grief, ignite advocacy, and inspire healing. Every life touched is a reflection of who she was — and still is — to all of us.

Today, we don’t just remember Alana.
We honor her ongoing impact.
We speak her name with pride, and we keep doing the work — in her name, and for every family like ours.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Alana Marie.

Today is Bereaved Mother’s Day

A day to honor the strength, love, and grief carried by mothers whose babies live in their hearts instead of their arms.

To the mothers who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or child loss—
We see you.
