Happy National Barbershop Quartet Day! It's going to be a full day of celebrating this incredible and unique style of music that has changed the lives of everyone who has enjoyed singing in a barbershop quartet. We have a lot of cool NBQD stuff to share throughout the day, including three new NBQD graphics that will drop this morning shortly, as well as NEW archival releases from the 1965 convention in Boston pulled from recent digital transfers from the archives.
We’ve dropped the entire 1965 Boston International convention highlights which includes behind the scenes footage, audience singalongs, the top five quartets and choruses, and championship calloffs in First Look this morning, so head over to the BHS YouTube channel and subscribe to First Look for this and other members-only peeks at special releases. We'll also publicly post special performances from Michigan Jake, The Four Renegades, and even a special vintage performance by The Louisville Thoroughbreds from the 1965 convention, so be sure to keep your eyes on our social media channels and subscribe to the BHS YouTube channel.
