Want to re-center and relax? Join us for a body movement workshop.

This interactive, immersive 2-hour class is taught by Annette Wells, lifelong educator, artist, editor, and massage therapist who has been doing bodywork since 1973.

The first half of the class will be a series of clothed stretches and bodywork moves from a variety of evidence-based modalities to relax muscles, hydrate fascia, and turn nervous energy into calm relaxation. We will be working with partners. Bring your own partner or make a new friend in class.

The second hour of the class will explore breath work, guided Metta meditation which helps to cultivate compassion, kindness and goodwill toward oneself and others. Of course, we will send some of these good vibes out to the community garden! We will follow this with a present moment awareness meditation session.

*Bring*: Your yoga mat, a pillow or meditation cushion, a blanket if you get chilly being still in meditation. No previous meditation or bodywork expereince needed.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE RSVP: https://form.jotform.com/260746503093052

🚨‼️The Free Bench on Knowlton St. is in danger‼️🚨

We received a notice from the City of Cincinnati stating that the structure itself is considered illegal under the current zoning rules unless it is removed or special permission is granted. The inspector is willing to work with us as long as we stay in contact and show progress.

We’re collecting short testimonials about the Free Bench and why it matters to the community. Please fill out this form and share it with others who use or support the Free Bench.

If you’re interested in volunteering please indicate that in the form and include your contact information.
