We’re staying out of politics, we simply believe no child should ever go hungry. That’s why any child visiting By Golly's will receive a free Kid’s Meal until SNAP benefits are reinstated.
Details:
• ✅ Limit: 1 Kid’s Meal per child
• ✅ Child must be present
• ✅ No purchase required
• ✅ No questions asked
Just mention: “SNAP KIDS MEAL” when ordering.
💛 The food drive we were going to start around the holidays begins today!
Bring 5 non-perishable food items to any of our locations and receive 25% off your meal at By Golly's.
If you’d like to support even more, you can buy a Kid’s Meal at 50% off, and we’ll pass those meals directly to children in need.

It appears that November SNAP benefits may be delayed for many local families. We believe when one of us struggles, we all step up—and that’s exactly what makes Albany so special. No child should go hungry, and if we can do a small part to help, we’re honored to do it. ❤️

A huge shoutout to for getting the ball rolling on this effort and inspiring local restaurants to come together to make sure our neighbors are cared for. 💕 We’re so grateful to see our community showing up with love and unity!

Starting Saturday, November 1, any child 12 and under can receive a FREE Kids Meal at Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant.

If you or someone you know NEEDS HELP this next month, please allow us to help. No purchase necessary—Just neighbors helping neighbors. 💕
‼️Just make sure to mention the “Mi Casa Kids Special” and make sure that your child is present with you AND accompanied by an ADULT please 🙏🏼

🚨WHILE SUPPLIES LAST—please be considerate and only partake if your child truly needs help so that we can make sure to serve as many as possible. (Basically if you CAN afford to pay full price, please allow others to enjoy the program instead 🙏🏼)

📢 Announcement from Elnora Motley Foundation!

We’re excited to share important food support resources for our community in Dayton and the surrounding area. If you or someone you know is facing food insecurity, help is just around the corner. 🍎🥖

➡️ One key resource is the The Foodbank, Inc. (56 Armor Place, Dayton, OH 45417 – call 937-461-0265). They’ve been serving Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties for over 40 years, distributing food through a network of more than 100 member pantries, community kitchens and shelters.

➡️ You can also locate a full list of food pantries and mobile pantries by ZIP code on their website (e.g., 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, mobile locations, etc.). 

💡 How you can make use of this info
• If you need food assistance: Visit the Foodbank’s website or call them to find the pantry closest to you.
• If you want to help: Consider donating non-perishable food items, fresh produce, or volunteer your time.
• Share this post: Let’s spread the word so no one in our community has to wonder where to turn for help.

The Elnora Motley Foundation was created to honor an extraordinary woman—Elnora Oretha Motley. She was a devoted wife, sister, and friend, but the role she embraced most fearlessly was being a Mom and Grandmother.

Elnora instilled resilience in her children, encouraging them to bounce back from challenges. She emphasized the value of higher education, saving money, and actively seeking opportunities—because nothing is ever handed to you!
