🌍💛 International Day of the Girl Child – 11 October 💛🌍

Every girl deserves the chance to learn, to lead, to dream, and to create a future free from violence, discrimination and inequality.

This year’s theme, “End child marriage and invest in girls’ rights”, calls for action to protect girls’ childhoods and create opportunities for them to thrive.

In 2025 the United Nations highlighted that no country with available data had met even half of the 16 Sustainable Development Goal targets crucial to adolescent girls’ wellbeing. As the 2030 deadline approaches, there is still much work to do.

So let’s keep working together to empower the next generation — ensuring every girl knows her voice matters and her dreams are within reach. 💪✨
