Update - We are up to $505!

Update - we have received $487 towards the vet bills. Just need $ 1,000 more. Please share if you can!!!

Begging Friday!

I owe $1500 in vet bills so far this month. Usually, I personally fund the vast majority of it but just can’t this month.

So far we have a poor mom with mastitis, another mom with severe bruising on her belly, 3 with nasal polyps, 1 with severe URI, a euthanasia from ingesting a toxic substance, and the FIP kitty. If you’re able to donate, please do so. If not, please share and share again.

Yesterday was a hectic rescue day and this morning turned worse! I will tell everyone what’s going on but for right this second, I have some people that need a huge shout out and serious applause for stepping in and giving me some badly needed help. Without my village, the situations (and there were numerous) would have been so much worse

“When in doubt, shoot it out”.

I had a rescue friend contact me about her sisters cat. They had seen 3 different vets and couldn’t get a diagnosis. They were watching their much loved cat die.

We talked about everything the vets had done and the phrase “when in doubt” came to mind. The kittys symptoms matched a lot of illnesses but i just kept going back to that phrase. So I told her to come over and get FIP meds.

This is what she sent me a few days later! This is why i can keep mentally doing what I do!

Begging Friday! Need to raise $500!!

It’s time for this poor guy Hans to have his nasal cavity sucked out. Hans came to us months ago with calisivirus and has never been 💯 well. He now suffers from chronic nasal infections. On top of the nasal cavity suck out, he needs an Xray and possibly a MRI in the future.

He is considered as a long term foster (permanent) medical case. Which means, we don’t feel he is healthy enough to adopt out. His Foster mom, Beth Hart, is doing such a wonderful job with him!
