More than the kick-off to summer. Honored to take part in a parade to remind our community of the cost of living in a free country. Thank you to the families that made time to get out early on a holiday and represent our Trail Life Troop OH-0520.

Tonight, we wrapped up our 2025-2026 regular year. In addition to our typical awards and crossing over celebrations, we also honored our troop's first Trailman who will complete every patrol, Fox through Adventurer, by next December. Our Committee decided that this Court of Honor was the time to recognize him. As the Troopmaster, it was a special event made more special by the fact that Trailman is my son. We are looking forward to seeing others continue to enjoy the program and age up from Trailman to Adult Leader in our troop. I had a couple of people ask me if I am going to keep with it. That is my plan. He was the reason I started on this journey, but the program is not just about us. Thankful for all those that help not only my son, but many sons, Walk Worthy!

We are just hours away from our annual dinner and silent auction. Come out and enjoy a taco dinner and place bids on the nearly $3,000 worth of items in the auction. Bids start at 40% of the fair market value. So, you may get a great deal. Even if you end up "buying it now" for double, or more, the value, all proceeds help our troop continue serving families of our area.

In addition to the generous donors listed on our current auction item list below, we are thankful for Flourish and Roam, Meijer, and Sam's Club Eastgate for providing so much help with our dinner. We would love to see you Saturday to support the troop and get great items at potentially great prices.
