Nighthawk Bike Park

Nighthawk Bike Park This project is in support of the success seen with the Riding for Focus grant implementation at Nagel.

This bike park allows Nagel students, during and after school, as well all other Forest Hills students and community members to hone their mountain bike handling skills. Riding for Focus promotes cycling as an outlet for students to improve their cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional well-being and is taught during the school day. This project is supported by CORA – Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance

. CORA has developed a plan for an on-campus skills area open to the public outside of school hours. This facility would allow students to challenge themselves while learning the skills needed to navigate the woods. The Riding for Focus program is a big step in leading youth into a lifelong sport that will maintain health, mental well-being, and focus.

Trail By The Foot is back! Each year this fundraiser helps Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance maintain and expand the trails we all love.

For just $20, you sponsor 2 feet of multi-use natural surface trail that supports building new trails, maintaining existing ones, and growing a stronger outdoor community across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The kids have spoken — and they love Nighthawk Bike Park! Built just last year at Nagel Middle School, it’s already getting worn in (and worn out) by nonstop community use.

CORA needs your help to keep the momentum going: we’re planning dirt upgrades for better drainage, fresh maintenance to keep the flow fun, and even some expansion. Plus, your support helps fuel the vision for an even bigger bike park with a paved pump track at Clear Creek!

Ran into two young shredders and their mom at East Fork State Park MTB trails today. We recognized each other from the Nighthawk Bike Park grand opening. Mom said they convinced her they were ready to hit the trails after honing their skills at the bike park. Nice work kiddos!
