Cincinnati NAACP is looking for students and mentors ready to JUMP into new opportunities!

The Junior & Senior High Uplifting Mentor Program (JUMP) connects Hamilton County students ages 13–18 with area professionals while building skills in networking, communication, interviewing, professionalism and more.

Through four interactive sessions and a Celebration Gala, students will gain practical skills, explore career opportunities and build relationships that will help prepare them for what comes next.

The first session is Saturday, October 17, and will focus on dining and dress etiquette, networking and professionalism.

THIS FRIDAY! There’s still time to join us for The Power of Connections: A Networking Happy Hour at Fueled Collective!

Whether you work in mentoring, are already a mentor, are thinking about becoming one or simply want to learn more, you’re invited to join We Mentor Cincy for a free evening of connection and conversation.

We’ll also hear from three local leaders doing incredible work to strengthen individuals and communities across our region: Dr. Elissa R. Bates of Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, Ashley Gray of 1N5 and our newly added speaker, Alexia Zigoris of CityLink Center.

Last Friday, We Mentor Cincy brought together mentors and mentees for a tailgate before FC Cincinnati took on Pumas UNAM in the Leagues Cup.

Experiencing a game with a mentee is about so much more than what happens on the field. It’s about sharing new experiences, making memories, having conversations and simply spending time together.

These are the moments that build stronger connections. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

We had a great time at Findlay Market for our second annual Regional Mentoring Showcase!

Our mentoring organizations connected with shoppers to share how they can make a difference as a mentor or volunteer. Every conversation helps bring us closer to ensuring more young people in Greater Cincinnati have the support of a caring mentor.

A special thank you to the Cincinnati Regional Chamber's C Change Class 21 for volunteering with us and continuing a tradition that began with C Change Class 20.
