Our nonprofit veterinary clinic provides affordable, high-quality veterinary care to keep pets healthy and together with the people who love them. We believe that everyone deserves the joy of a pet, and all pets deserve quality veterinary care. As the only resource of its kind in Greater Cincinnati, Pets In Need provides a positive alternative to surrendering pets to a shelter for those who have f

allen on hard times. There are no geographic restrictions and pet owners come from the entire Tristate area encompassing 15 counties and 127 zip codes.

Brother and sister duo Chance and Dream came in for their very first visit, and these two were already having the best time together, treating the visit like playtime! 😆

During their visit, they got started on their vaccines, and they’re also on their way to getting spayed and neutered, both important steps toward a healthy life.

Chance and Dream, you two are quite the pair! 😍

Please plan ahead and request any prescription refills you may need before the holiday weekend. We want to make sure you have everything you need while we’re closed.

Look at the big guy 🥰

Jethro came in for treatment for uncomfortable skin conditions, and our team was happy to help this sweet guy get the care he needed.

For Jethro’s family, veterinary expenses can be difficult to manage on a fixed income. When there’s more going out than coming in, unexpected medical care for a beloved pet can feel out of reach. We’re grateful we could help make Jethro’s treatment more affordable for his family, so they could focus on getting him healthy and comfortable.

“I can’t express how grateful I am,” Jethro’s owner shared.

Helping families access the veterinary care their pets need, no matter their financial circumstances, is what we’re all about. And we’re pretty happy Jethro is feeling better, too. 💙

It’s our birthday! 🎉

What started as a mission to help pets and the people who love them has grown into something so much bigger. Over the years, our care has expanded, our reach has grown, and we’ve had the privilege of serving thousands of pets and people throughout Greater Cincinnati and beyond — both in our clinic and out in the community.

Every pet we’ve cared for, every family we’ve helped, and every person who has walked through our doors has been part of this journey. And we’re incredibly grateful for the community that continues to believe in what we do and make this work possible. ❤️

We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!

Jackson first came to Pets In Need with his owner, who was disabled and living on a fixed income. Routine veterinary care was a financial challenge, but with our help, Jackson was able to get the wellness care he needed without putting an impossible strain on his owner. After his owner passed away, a friend stepped in to become Jackson’s mom and continues to make sure he gets the love and care he deserves. ❤️🐾

Recently, Jackson needed surgery to remove a mass, and his recovery has been wonderful! His mom told us, “You can’t even tell it was ever there!” She calls Pets In Need “life savers” and “God sent,” and shared that without affordable veterinary care, she and Jackson’s sibling may not have been able to afford the care they needed and could have faced having to rehome them.

This is why affordable veterinary care matters. With the support we receive, we can help keep pets like Jackson healthy, happy, and with the people who love them. Your support helps make that possible.

Our team is always learning! This week, we were grateful to welcome Emily Latimer, DVM, and Dianne Perry from Norbrook for professional training with our staff.

Continuing education and staff learning are an important part of how we grow as a team. We’re always looking for new knowledge, tools, and approaches to care that help us better support the pets and families we serve. ❤️

A big thank you to Emily and Dianne for sharing their time and expertise with our team! We’re also grateful for the many organizations and professionals who partner with us throughout the year to help our staff keep learning and growing!

Today is , and we’re thinking about what it really means to serve a community.

It means showing up for people and families, meeting them where they are, and helping provide the support they need to thrive. Because when people and their pets are healthy, happy, and connected, our communities are stronger, healthier, and happier, too.

And none of us does this work alone. Across our community, nonprofits, community organizations, volunteers, and partners share resources, lend a hand, and work together toward a common goal: creating a stronger community for everyone.
