What does it take to build a mentally healthy community? bi3 Fund's Jill Miller sat down with local mental health leaders, Debbie Gingrich of Best Point and Rick Wurth of OneQuest Health, at the Cincinnati Business Courier's Table of Experts roundtable to tackle that question head-on.

The conversation was full of powerful insights. From embedding behavioral health specialists in primary care settings, to training community members to support one another, to letting youth lead the way on safe spaces, real change is possible—and happening—in Greater Cincinnati.

Every baby deserves a first birthday.

Hamilton County's infant mortality rate rose in 2025, and Black babies are 79% more likely to die before their first birthday than babies overall. These numbers are heartbreaking. But they don't have to define our future.

It's time to step forward together. Whether it's delivering a meal to a new mom or advocating for paid family leave, every one of us has a role to play.

We're proud to support the work of Hopeful Empowered Youth (HEY!), featured this week in Soapbox Cincinnati!

HEY! is flipping the script on mental wellness by empowering teens and young adults to shape the systems that affect them. Their 10-year strategy is community-led, youth-powered, and built for the long haul.

As bi3 Fund President & CEO Jill Miller shares in the piece: "We need to move upstream and invest in prevention, because this mental health crisis that we’re in is going to take decades to build a workforce to meet the demand for services.”

With the traditional systems that support teen and young adult mental well-being in danger of breaking down, maybe it’s the youth themselves who hold the keys to creating a better future.

Congratulations to our partner on this milestone! We're excited to see the impact of The Shiloh Center in providing care that centers mothers throughout their maternal journeys!

Today on Day, we are honored to introduce The Shiloh Center for Maternal Mental Wellness.
Located right here inside BTW, the Shiloh Center was created with intention to provide a safe, culturally affirming space where mothers are truly seen, supported, and cared for throughout every stage of their maternal journey.

Shiloh is more than a center. It's a sacred place, it's our commitment to healing, connection, support and community. We are grateful to bi3 for making The Shiloh Center possible.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we share more about the programs, partnerships, and pathways to healing that will grow from The Shiloh Center.
