$88M out of $500M has already been raised and basically if you pledge $45 you get one vote. Any amount pledged gets the same voting rights in the company.
The servers have crashed due to demand but should be back up soon according to the site. The best part is you don’t need to donate any $$ at this stage- it’s just gauging intent. Minimum pledge is $45.
According to the site, you will also own a piece of the airline and get a share of the profits too in addition to a vote for how it is run.
This is a really interesting concept and apparently the Green Bay Packers are also community owned?!? I had no idea but this is based off that.
I think this is a really exciting idea and gives power to the people! This is not financial advice but I wanted to pass on the info. This feels like it could be a way for the future!
