Eastside Pride

See Nico Lang and Jim Obergefell on Wednesday, September 2.
Message from Nico:
My name is Nico Lang, and I’m a longtime LGBTQ+ journalist, as well as the author of the award-winning national bestseller, American Teenager, which documents the lives of trans youth and their loved ones in seven different states. My goal was to speak back to extremist rhetoric about kids by showing trans young people as they actually are: powerfully human. For the past 23 months, I’ve been traveling the country on a historic 50-state tour to bring their voices to as many communities as possible (380+ events to date). And as part of that work, I'll be in the greater Cincinnati area this week — on Wednesday, September 2 — for a reading/Q&A at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Lebanon (1270 N. Broadway St.), in conversation with civil rights legend Jim Obergefell. The event should start around 6:30pm.
