The Lovis Foundation Class of 2026 Spotlight.

Meet Key’arrah Montgomery — a student whose determination, humor, and heart make her a quiet force for good.

Key’arrah has faced challenges with resilience and grace, refusing to let obstacles define her path. She brings a forward-moving spirit to everything she does, showing up with courage, kindness, and a willingness to keep growing.

Key’arrah has become a leader, a role model for younger students, and a steady source of encouragement for her peers. She works hard, supports others, and maintains part-time employment.

What makes Key’arrah stand out is the way she notices people. When someone needs support, she steps in with reassurance, honesty, and care — helping others feel safe, included, and capable. She shows up in big ways and small ones, often quietly, but always with love, strength, and courage.

Key’arrah embodies the Lovis Foundation values of belonging by helping others feel accepted and supported; joy through humor, warmth, and encouragement to those around her; and compassion in action—turning kindness into steady, everyday leadership.

The Lovis Foundation Class of 2026 Spotlight.

Shreya Sharath doesn’t wait to be asked to help—she steps forward the moment she sees a need.

In December 2024, she launched GleeBoxx after realizing that people going through hard times don’t always receive something personal—or joyful. In just over a year, she’s led 10 donation drives, distributed 700+ gift boxes, partnered with Joseph’s House, RISSE, CASA Kids, and Sidewalk Warriors, and rallied volunteers through three community packing events.

Shreya is hands-on at every step, and each box pairs essentials with uplifting touches—often a small gift and a handwritten note—so recipients feel remembered, not overlooked. She brings that same leadership to advocacy and literacy work through Girls Inc. and her book-focused service. What makes her a Lovis Hero is the consistency behind it all: she builds service, sustains it, and brings others with her.

Shreya embodies the Lovis Foundation values of Joy—creating joy on purpose through thoughtful boxes that uplift; Abundance—going beyond “just enough” so the underserved receive more than the minimum; Belonging—helping people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for; Recognition—making sure recipients feel remembered, not overlooked; and Compassion in Action—turning love into consistent, hands-on service and inviting others to join.

The Lovis Foundation Class of 2026 Spotlight.
Student: Emma Fischetti

Emma Fischetti is “that kid”—the one who notices when someone is standing alone, pulls up an extra chair, and leads with heart even when no one is watching. She’s the kind of student who makes others feel seen, included, and valued. Last year, she turned that kindness into action by starting a Random Acts of Kindness Club at her school. After noticing classmates being left out, Emma wanted to help create a culture of belonging. As president, she works tirelessly to spread kindness both inside the school walls and throughout the community. Emma leads by example—and she’s proof that one person can make a real difference.

Emma embodies the Lovis Foundation values of Belonging—noticing who’s on the outside, pulling up an extra chair, and helping classmates feel seen and included, and Compassion in Action—turning kindness into leadership by creating the Random Acts of Kindness Club and giving others simple, consistent ways to show up for one another at school and in the community.

The Lovis Foundation Class of 2026 Spotlight.

Meet Caleb — a 7th grader who turned pain into purpose.

After being bullied in elementary school, Caleb didn’t just heal — he wrote a book. Never Alone carries an anti-bullying message straight from his heart, and he’s been sharing it everywhere: schools, churches, TV, fairs, and his own community.
His message? You are not alone. Kindness is only a thought away.

Recently, Caleb spoke to fourth graders at a local elementary school — sharing his book and his personal story. When a student asked, “What do you do after you’ve been bullied?” Caleb had a powerful answer: forgive, move forward, and choose kindness. He believes that mindset builds confidence and hope.

The response? A stack of thank-you cards from kids who felt seen — many of them writing about hope, community, and forgiveness.

Caleb’s story is exactly what the LOVIS Foundation is about: spreading joy and uplifting those who often go unrecognized. He’s proof that one young voice can change a room — and maybe a life.

Caleb embodies the LOVIS Foundation values of Belonging—helping kids feel less alone; Recognition—giving voice to students whose hurt often goes unseen; Joy—choosing kindness and hope on purpose; and Compassion in Action—turning his story into encouragement shared with schools and the wider community.

We're looking for someone to help build the playbooks for our programs.

Next year will be 10 years of spreading joy, we're looking for someone who wants to help shape what comes next.

Over the past decade, we've built programs that recognize extraordinary students, create inclusive experiences, and bring joy to children and families across the country. Along the way, we've learned so much, and now it's time to preserve that knowledge so these programs can continue to grow for years to come.

We're looking for a Program Documentation Volunteer who loves asking questions, organizing information, and turning ideas into clear, easy-to-follow playbooks. You'll work directly with our founder and president to capture not just how our programs work, but why they matter.

This is more than documenting processes. It's helping build the foundation for the next decade of The Lovis Foundation.
If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we'd love to connect.

Please share this post to help us find the right person.

The Lovis Foundation Class of 2026 Spotlight.

Meet Braxton — a 5th grader with a heart bigger than most adults we know.

Braxton is always the first to raise his hand when someone needs help. Whether a classmate needs encouragement, is feeling sick, or just needs someone in their corner — Braxton shows up. His empathy isn’t performative; it’s genuine, and his peers feel it.

Some of Braxton’s classmates need a little extra support, and Braxton has naturally become their loudest cheerleader. He doesn’t see differences as barriers — he sees people who deserve to be celebrated.

Beyond the classroom, Braxton has helped raise funds for Special Olympics, Animal Care Advocacy, and families affected by local tragedies. All of this, without being asked.

That’s exactly why we’re proud to recognize Braxton — he lives out our mission every single day: bringing joy and enrichment to young people who are often overlooked.

Braxton embodies the LOVIS Foundation values of Belonging—making sure classmates feel supported and included; Joy—bringing warmth and encouragement to those who need it most; Recognition—celebrating students who might otherwise be overlooked; Abundance—showing up with more than the minimum, again and again; and Compassion in Action—turning empathy into real help at school and in the wider community.

Lovis Awards Class of 2026 Spotlight.

Meet Nicole — a true changemaker in her school community and beyond.

Nicole, an 8th grader, is the founder of If You Can Dream (iycd.org), an organization dedicated to making dreams come true for students with special needs worldwide. Since 2020, she has supported more than 100 students across the USA, Canada, Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Her most recent project? Raising funds for a Parade Day event in Tagaytay City, Philippines — a celebration that brought together more than 60 students with special needs among 1,500 participants. 🎉

Witnessing natural disasters and the growing effects of climate change through her work inspired Nicole to found a second organization: Innovation International (innovationinternational.org). Since 2023, she has mentored more than 500 students from the USA, Brazil, Ghana, Liberia, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines in environmental protection through STEM solutions and prototypes.

Her flagship Sustainable Food Production project earned multiple awards and has been implemented in schools including the Tagaytay City Special Education Center. Today, Nicole holds a portfolio of 15 environmental protection solutions she uses to mentor K–12 students globally, engaging them in conferences and STEM competitions to raise funds for underprivileged students and students with special needs.

Oh, and she’s also a published author — with two books to her name. 📚

Nicole embodies the LOVIS Foundation values of Joy—creating celebrations and dream-fulfilling moments on purpose; Belonging—centering students with special needs so they feel welcomed and included; Abundance—delivering more than the minimum through big, hope-filled experiences and sustained support; Recognition—shining a light on students whose potential is too often overlooked; and Compassion in Action—turning empathy into real organizations, real mentorship, and real impact around the world.
