Greater Cincinnati Chapter American Association of Zoo Keepers AAZK is a non-profit organization of zookeepers and zoo professionals dedicated to animal care. If you have any questions, feel free to message us!

AAZK members organize and hold several fundraisers throughout the year and use the proceeds to fund:
-Animal care and conservation efforts on an international scale
-Professional development opportunities for chapter members
-Financial assistance for members wishing to attend conferences
-And much, much more! Meetings are held once a month and it costs nothing to join the local chapter. We thank you for your support!

Happy Bat Appreciation Day!
Bats are the second largest order of mammals, just behind rodents. These flying mammals represent about 20% of all classified mammal species worldwide. There are around 1,240 bat species. bats serve very important roles in worldwide ecosystems. Those that feed on insects keep potential pests managed, while bats they eat fruit are both important pollinators and aid in seed dispersal.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our bowling pin painting party for rhino conservation! We had a great turnout and lots of fun. Whether you painted, ate and drank, bought raffle tickets, or just hung out it meant a lot to us. So sincerely, thank you!
