This Worldwide LAM Awareness Month, we're celebrating the power of connection.

After years of unanswered questions, dismissed symptoms, and a near-unnecessary surgery, Amy Becker finally received a diagnosis of LAM. Today, she's turning her experience into action by sharing her story, educating her community, and reaching out to healthcare professionals so that other women can find answers sooner.

That's how progress happens. One conversation. One connection. One shared story at a time.

Today, 77 LAM clinics worldwide, including 41 across the United States, help connect women to expert care, research opportunities, and community. Yet too many women still spend years searching for answers while their disease progresses.

Will you join Amy and help spread awareness this June?

Create a fundraiser, share educational resources, and start conversations about LAM. When 10 fundraisers are created during Worldwide LAM Awareness Month, Trillium.BiO will unlock an additional $10,000 to support The LAM Foundation.

Together, we can connect patients to care, researchers to discoveries, and women with LAM to hope. Because of you, a cure IS possible.

We’re grateful to recognize Region 18 LAM Liaison Ally Venugopal for her dedication, time, and energy she gives to the LAM community.

Ally recently organized an in-person regional meeting in the Seattle, WA that brought together 32 attendees, including 16 people living with LAM.

From educational presentations to open conversations and shared meals, the day created space for connection, learning, and support. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about living well with LAM and connect with others who understand the journey firsthand.

In addition to building community locally, Ally is also a dedicated advocate for the Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act through the American Lung Association. She regularly encourages others to speak up, contact legislators, and help raise awareness for LAM.

Ally has a remarkable ability to bring people together and inspire others to get involved.
