As our week of adventure, learning, and unforgettable experiences comes to a close, we made one final stop at one of the most iconic memorials in Washington, D.C., the Marine Corps own Iwo Jima.
This incredible trip, made new memories, valuable experiences, and a whole lot of “D.C Shenanigans “. None of this would have been possible without the support of the parents, family members and everyone who contributed to our fundraisers and made donations. We are especially grateful to Heidi Hader Whitaker, Wendle Norman, and American Legion Post 513 for their generous donation to our unit.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this journey possible. Your support and generosity are truly appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have shared this experience together.

We toured the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
