The engine for the Stinson SR10 was picked up from hangar 3 and is now in Minnesota with the rest of the plane for restoration.

For those following the progress on the Stinson SR10, it was picked up from hangar 3 on Friday August 31st by Rodney Roy and his wife. To those of you following the progress of the Stinson SR10, We realized we could never in a logical time frame raise the required $250K to $300K to restore it. So we negoted a arangement with Rodney Roy (Roy Aero) to convey the Stinson to him for restoration to flying condition. When finished if we have a facility he will deliver the plane to us for display. Stay tuned for pictures and updates.

In case you do not know. In May 2022 we ere asked to vacate our location in the LUK Terminal as the city leased the facility to a developer to reopen the restaurant and build a 38 room boutique hotel,. All of out exhibits are instorge while we work on our future. Thanks for all the phone calls asking about the museum.
