CCPA Big-Bang Lions Marching Band

CCPA Big-Bang Lions Marching Band Music The Cincinnati Music & Arts Program (CMAP) was founded in February of 2009 by Eryk McDaniel, Sr.

The intent behind the creation of the program was to restore musical education within the students of the Cincinnati Public School District; but to also deliver at risk students with a haven of express safety. CMAP extends the reach of the arts to communities that have been traditionally underserved yet riddled with crime, dysfunction and despair. With membership in the program, students are able

to increase their self-esteem, community pride as well as their desire to exceed their current surroundings. With each note that is taught and every routine that is rehearsed, students are instilled with discipline and desire. CMAP is truly the embodiment of “no child left behind” because each and every student is set forth with the skills and support to reach for the stars and beyond.
