A 21-year-old man is dead after he was shot in Mt. Auburn Saturday morning, according to Cincinnati police.

Officers say they were called to the 2000 block of Highland Avenue around 2:15 a.m. and discovered Benjamin Addison suffering from a gunshot wound.

Life-saving measures were performed, but Addison died at the scene, police said.

Police say the shooting happened on Highland Avenue.

More than 35 years after a young mother was gunned down at work, Pierce Township Police hope shining a spotlight on the cold case could help them solve it.

Amy Diesman was shot and killed in the early morning of Sept. 12, 1987, at what was then a Stop N Go store on Ohio 125. Diesman, who had a four-month-old daughter, had only been employed there for a week.

Lt. Bryan Burke thinks Diesman was okay with working the third shift because she wanted to spend time with her baby.

Looking at the timeline, police suspect Diesman was killed in a matter of minutes.

A 19-year-old mother was killed 35 years ago, but police have not given up on solving the case.

Two suspects answered to charges in two separate murders Wednesday. Antwan Coach and Markel Hardy each face two counts of aggravated murder.

The pair is accused of killing Kamar Williams, on West Galbraith Road in North College Hill on July 5. Assistant prosecutor David Wood said they approached Williams in a parking lot where he was shot in the chest.

The gun that killed Williams was found under Coach's bed during a search at his parents' house, according to court papers.

Both Coach and Hardy are accused of killing Deonte Nuckols, 46, in his St. Bernard condo on August 1. Wood said Nuckols was sitting on his couch when he was shot six times. Two different guns were used.

Cell phone records put both men at both murders, said Wood.

A judge set bond at $2 million for each suspect.

Two people have been arrested in the shooting death of a man behind a gas station in Winton Place last week.

It happened June 8 around 5 a.m. behind the BP Gas Station on Mitchell Avenue.

Police are investigating after a shooting in Cheviot.

Officers were called to a home on Dina Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday for reports of a person shot.

The victim, a female friend and her two-month-old child were leaving the victim's mother's residence.

The two-month-old child was put in the vehicle by the victim before he was shot four times.

Witnesses say at least one male subject in dark clothing was seen fleeing the scene on foot after the incident.

The victim is in stable condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The girl was in her home at the time.

The child is stable at Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects fired several rounds targeting the house that she was inside.

A man has died after a Lincoln Heights shooting.

Rylaind Hutchins, 20, was pronounced deceased at Good Samaritan Hospital on Friday.

Police were called to Medosh Avenue after 11:00 p.m. No victim was found at the time. A short time later, Hutchins arrived at the hospital.
