We are still smiling from an incredible day at our annual Golf Outing last Friday! ⛳️✨

One of our favorite displays from the course was this reminder that we are Stronger Together. The BDK Fund (Brighter Days 4 Kids) is honored to work alongside over 30+ incredible community partners who share our vision and passion for serving others.

Making a difference, one helping hand at a time! 💙

Our BDK Scholars had the opportunity to serve alongside the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at the Becky & Ted Cathing Food Pantry. From lending a hand to seeing the impact of their work firsthand, this was a meaningful experience for our scholars and a great reminder of the power of giving back to our community. 💛

BDK was proud to create an All-Star experience for the final day of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s Miracle League season on July 25, 2026.

All-Star jerseys, personalized walk-up songs, player introductions, BDK Scholars cheering from the field, Gapper, frozen treats, and so much JOY!

Most importantly, we wanted every player to feel celebrated, included, and like the star they are. ❤️

Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball.

Getting a little practice in before the BDK Miracle League All Star Games on July 25 at Dunham Rec Center. Games will be at 8, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 am. At BDK we are creating the volunteers and leaders of tomorrow!

Congratulations to Reese Frondorf for being chosen the recipient for the BDK THRIVE & SHINE SCHOLARSHIP in the amount of $1500. Thank you to the scholarship & BDK sponsor, Larry Blundred, who created it in memory of his late(first)wife, Donna who battled stage 4 brain cancer. The scholarship will be applied towards Reese’s tuition at the Savannah College of Art and Design. 🎊👏👩🏻‍🎓
