NADONA/LTC

NADONA/LTC NADONA LTC is a premier professional organization dedicated to nursing and nurse leaders in the Post-Acute Care and Assisted Living professions

In 1986 a group of Director of nurses got together in Missouri and knew they needed to support one another. They needed to band together to assist one another!! They formed NADONA, a Non profit association for Nurse Leaders in the post acute and long term care facilities. To educate, support, nurture, our members to be the best they can be! WE UNDERSTAND all that our members go through on a daily

basis, and develop policies, procedures, educational materials, including Certificates of Mastery, Certifications, manuals, field guides, National Conferences, Webinars, and Leadership programs!! We have a quarterly journal, that is recognized by the library of congress, and 20 thousand dollars in annual scholarships. We also have many state chapters with their own meetings and conferences to add to the benefits of membership! No one knows all that you go through in one days as a nursing administrator....no one knows the stress, struggles, long hours, putting out fires all day long, meeting the needs of the residents, family members of the residents, staff, co workers, consultants, and inspectors, all coming to the nurse leader for the answers. No one knows what this is like except another nurse administrator or NADONA. We walk the walk and talk the talk... we Support, educate, confide, console, and nurture when needed. WE UNDERSTAND... WE ARE NADONA!!!! WE ARE SURVIVORS!!
