**WE ARE NOW RECRUITING ALLY APPLICANTS FOR THE FALL 2024-2025 PROGRAM YEAR!**

Public Allies, Inc. is a national AmeriCorps program with Public Allies Cincinnati being one of its 25 sites that focuses on leadership development with the vision of a more perfect Union that includes all of us. Our mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it. This innovative program is designed for emerging leaders who are seeking opportunities to gain transferable skills and real world experience in the nonprofit field.

As a Public Ally, the individual will serve a full-time 10-month apprenticeship at local nonprofit organization, participate in weekly professional and personal trainings and complete a team service project that focuses on leveraging assets in a specific neighborhood in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky.

Qualifications:
This position is a great fit for applicants who:
Are service minded and committed to community work
Are eager to build new skills, are open coaching, and feedback
Are comfortable with community engagement and relationship building
Enjoy roles related to coaching, support, mentorship, and building a team environment
Professional goals related to service, program design and management, community engagement, leadership development, or the nonprofit sector

Program Benefits:
Earn a monthly stipend of **$2,200**
Receive the Segal Education award valued at **$7,395** upon successful completion of program
Receive child care assistance, healthcare and student loan deferment during your term of service

Last Month, one of our TSP groups (Yellow Team ⭐️) held a community day for the children of Hamilton Heights at the Santa Monica Center. This event taught children about the natural world 🌍 through entertaining and engaging activities. Community Matters to Public Allies Cincinnati, and we’re ! Give it up for Yellow Team!

This and every Wednesday our partner organization Wave Pool hosts an event centering women from the Owning Your Own Voice program with Broken into Beauty. Women will be sharing their stories in an effort to reduce stigma, empower themselves and the guests, and connect those interested in recovery to assistance. Wave Pool will be serving free soup at The Welcome Project. Pick up a plate and pull out a seat. Learn more here.

She’s currently partnered with the Public Allies National Office and specializes in Alumni Outreach. Jocelyn joined Public Allies Cincinnati because she really wanted to learn unique skillsets for her career. Her favorite part so far is the atmosphere, she knows that she will never be afraid to be herself here. Amazing, Keep up the good work!

Our Partner Organization Wave Pool is having an Farmer’s Market event in association with Camp Washington Urban Revitilzation Corporation (CWURC) every Thursday starting July 7th til for the rest of the summer. They’ll be hosting art activities each week for children and adults for entertainment while they shop. Make sure to check out Camp Washington Farmer’s Market!
