Fugitives and Refugees Fugitives&Refugees is a local collective focused on bringing together artists, writers, and musicians in the Cincinnati area. It's that simple!

Fugitives&Refugees was solely an idea to bring together the Cincinnati art community to share their passion for creativity in the hope that musicians, artists, poets, and other like-minded people would bond and conjure up new projects, ideas, and groups. What's that mean?
-We're a collective. The important part of that distinction is that it means that it's not about any one performer or artist,

it's all of us together. You are welcome to join [Just follow this page! We will give out the rest of the information you need right here!] and participate. In fact, we hope you will.

-Every month, we hold a show, at the Mockbee. That's 2260 Central Parkway. We kick it all night with art, music, cheap drinks, and dancing every third friday. It's always 18+ with a cash bar, and you can always expect to have a good time as well as see some of Cincinnati's most talented artists displaying their work.

-Many of the pieces that we hang at our show are for sale. The artists see 100% profit from the sale of a piece, and there is no hanging fee. If you want to HANG art, just join this page and we will give you the dropoff information every month through here. If you want to PLAY music or READ poetry at one of our shows [or if you know someone else who might] then you need to MESSAGE this page, Ethan, or Atticus.

it was a great run. as Atticus said, it is saddening that the project has come to an end. but it was time for f&r to retire. i hope to have a new project off the ground doing new & improved things. and for you chicago goers, swing by the gallery atticus is planning on starting after her transition. thank you for taking an active interest in our vision. we hope to see you all again soon. -Ethan

i am both saddened and relieved to have just finished the last Fugitives and Refugees teardown. thanks to the supporters, it's been a fun year. i hope you guys continue to support and foster cincinnati's artistic community and the artists within it. I will definitely take all I have learned with me to Chicago. -Atticus
