03/05/2026

Join us for the reception on March 12th from 5 to 7 PM.

Step inside Reed Gallery and explore Nam June Paik in Cincinnati: A History, an exhibition that revisits a remarkable chapter in Cincinnati’s art scene.

From 1983 to 2003, artist Nam June Paik, Carl Solway Gallery, and printmaker Mark Patsfall collaborated to form the Paik Factory, producing more than 400 artworks and internationally recognized video sculptures while employing many local artists.

Through Patsfall’s narration, documentation, and imagery, the exhibition traces the creative process behind these works, from early sketches to finished sculptures and major museum exhibitions.

Domesticus Nature Morte presents the collaborative work of Nathan Gorgen and Molly Jo Burke of Byproduct Studios. Their practice is deeply intertwined with family life, material reuse, and playful transformation.

Blending structured digital fabrication and woodworking with intuitive glass and ceramic processes, Gorgen and Burke create work that reflects on memory, nostalgia, and the passage of time. Studio remnants and everyday materials are thoughtfully reworked into meticulously crafted pieces that blur the boundary between functional and fantastical.

We invite you to experience this thoughtful and playful exhibition in person.

On view at Meyers Gallery from February 8 through April 5, 2026.
Join us for the reception on April 2 from 5 to 7 PM.

Please note that this video has been edited, and the exposure has been lowered for visual effect. The gallery lighting and works may appear different when viewed in person.

DAAP feels a little emptier this semester… Here's why.

They didn’t go missing; they went on a field trip.

After sitting on the fifth floor of DAAP for nearly 20 years, Ethan and Violet were quietly relocated to the Contemporary Arts Center as part of a UC Art Collection exhibition. The move left students confused, nostalgic, and asking questions, including the artist himself.

Now on view downtown, the beloved statues are getting a moment beyond campus before returning home this spring.

“Sometimes, even icons need a change of scenery.”

It's the last week for Wright in Ohio! Don't miss your chance to see Thomas R. Schiff's incredible photographs of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in Ohio.

Schiff utilized a panoramic camera mounted on a tripod. Once activated, the camera rotates in a circle making one continuous photograph in a full 360° sweep. Schiff’s images capture the spatial depth, undulating curves, and incomparable beauty of Wright’s designs.
