Calling all University of Cincinnati Alumni! If you are in the Greater Cincinnati area and within range of the W8YX repeater, the UC Amateur Radio Club is extending an invitation to you to act as net control for some of our coming weekly nets! We would like to dedicate the first week of each month as an Alumni net should there be a great enough response. Our nets occur most weeks at 5:15pm each Tuesday (This may be subject to change as we enter the summer semester). The wife works at UC and I just overheard on a conference call that "Parking Services" is telling everyone that they (not anyone related to Public Safety) will determine when to allow employees and students back on campus. For the 1990s club members, this will surprise exactly no one.

During our most recent Saturday meeting a few of us went up to the top of Calhoun hall to fix our club repeater. W8YX is now up and running again!

Tune in for weekly nets: Thursdays at 7p to recap what we've talked about in meeting, and Sundays at 10p for an informal check in and chat. This is a great first step towards getting our club more active and getting more of our members on the air! Contests and more are soon to come...
