Kesem at the University of Cincinnati Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

This camping experience has a lasting impact on children by providing them a peer-support network that understands their unique needs, builds confidence and strengthens their communication skills. Last Monday, 9/21, we had our first member meeting of the season!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came, we discussed what Kesem is and why we do it! If you weren’t able to make it, it’s okay! We hope to see you all next week for our next meeting on 10/05 in Clifton Court Hall, Room 1140.

It's that time of year! We had the most magical time at camp a couple weeks ago and now we’re ready to welcome some new members to our club!

Before we share all about our 2026 camp session, it’s time to celebrate our Kesem seniors!

These incredible seniors dedicated their time to raising money for campers, planning events, volunteering, and so much more. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and magic they poured into Kesem.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for our organization. We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Kesem is a week long summer camp for kids whose parents have or had cancer. We are looking for 2 MHP’s to serve our chapter August 2nd through the 8th just 30 minutes from Cincinnati. Housing and meals are provided!
