Vineyard Westside You are welcome here. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done. Come as you are because we believe that love wins. Period.

Vineyard Westside is an authentic, diverse, and inviting non-denominational church located in Cincinnati, Ohio that holds the central belief that every being longs for a connection with God. To explore this connection and achieve a vision of inclusion, Vineyard Westside was founded as Church Vineyard in 2004 under the founding pastor, Tim Urmston. Pastor Urmston began by collecting a group of like-minded individuals who were committed to serve the local community. With a strong interest that quickly increased, Vineyard Westside was born as a place to worship and practice spiritual discipline in the pursuit of growing closer to God. Now serving over 600 attendees, Vineyard Westside offers a belief system founded on the essential elements of the Christian doctrine, and a commitment to the theology of the kingdom of God. This view is rooted in a renewed understanding of biblical thought through exploration of overarching themes found in the Bible. With a hope to forge creative, entrepreneurial, and innovative approaches to the ministry through compassion toward the lost, poor, and outcast, Vineyard Westside offers bible study, worship opportunities, and food pantry assistance for those in need of spiritual as well as material guidance. WHAT. A. DAY. 🙌 🙌 🙌

Today was one of those Sundays I don’t think we’ll ever forget…

We gathered outside, worshiped together, celebrated together, ate together…and most importantly, we watched people take a HUGE step of faith through baptism.

Seeing people publicly say YES to Jesus never gets old.

Every person who stepped into that water has a story. Every baptism represented a life, a journey, a family, some struggles, some victories…and a God who is still writing the story.

THIS is the Church. ❤️

And I need to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made today happen.

The people who showed up early.
The people who stayed late.
The people who set up tables and chairs.
The people who ran sound, worship, food, grills, drinks, baptism logistics, security, cleanup…and probably 100 other things I didn’t even see happening.

Some of you were sweating before most people even arrived. 😂

Days like today don’t just happen.

They happen because a whole bunch of people decide:

“Whatever needs done… I’ll help.”

That’s one of my favorite things about Vineyard Westside.

EVERYONE GETS TO PLAY.

To every volunteer who gave your time, energy, muscles, cooking skills, technical skills, hospitality and heart today:

THANK YOU.

And to every person who was baptized today…

We are SO incredibly proud of you.

This isn’t the finish line.

It’s the beginning.

God is doing something beautiful on the West Side.

And I’m incredibly grateful that we get to be part of it.

FIND LIFE IN JESUS. ❤️
